General Directions to Mammoth Lakes:

From San Diego: Take hwy 15 north to 395 north, exit @ Mammoth Lakes/203 and go left/west onto 203. 203 turns into Main St in Mammoth Lakes. 

From LA:

Take 405 north to 14 N to 395 N, then follow same directions as above

Fom Reno:

Take hwy 395 South exit @ Mammoth Lakes/203, bear right into 203, 203 then turns into Main St in Mammoth Lakes

Meet @ the front desk inside Mammoth Mountaineering Supply located @ 3189 Main St, Mammoth Lakes, Ca, it is the big teal and white building in the left/south side of Main St in Mammoth Lakes, you can't miss it!

For Group Trips of 10 or more people ONLY:

Meet @ Horseshoe Lake parking lot

From the town of Mammoth Lakes, follow Main St/203 west, it then turns into Lake Mary Road, follow Lake Mary Rd until it dead ends into Horseshoe Lake parking lot. Meet guide/s in the Horse Lake parking lot.

 

Castle Rock State Park - Directions and Meeting location:

Note: Parking in Castle Rock State Park is by required fee only is not included in our rates. Or, you can choose to park outside of the Castle Rock State Park parking lot for no fee.

Directions: From Santa Cruz: Follow hwy 17 toward San Jose, exit @ bear creek rd, make right over the over pass, then make immediate right onto Montievina rd  (the service rd that parallels hwy 17, click here for a map of the exit ), then make left onto black rd, follow black rd all the way up the grade, then make right onto Skyline, follow sky line for about 10 minutes, see Castle Rock State Park on your left.

Castle Rock/Bay Area Climbing Directions:

Directions: From San Jose or north bay, follow hwy 880 to 17 toward Los Gatos and Santa Cruz, exit @ bear creek rd, stay on exit loop, then follow straight onto Montevina rd (the service rd that paralells hwy 17), then make left onto Black rd, follow black road all the way up the grade, then make right onto Skyline, follow sky line for about 10 minutes, see Castle Rock State Park on your left.

 Pinnacles National Monument - Directions and Meeting Location to East Side of Pinnacles National Monument

Directions: From San Jose and San Francisco area:

Take 101 South through the city of Gilroy to HWY 25 South, through the town of Holister, then turn right on Hwy 146 toward Pinnacles and follow into upper/last parking lot, past the visitor center.
