David Lane: Director of Guide Training and Supervision - Senior Guide & Instructor

Dave is certified at the Rock Guide level and Multi-Pitch Guide level, hence holding the highest levels of rock climbing guide certification available in the world. He is also a truly gifted world class climbing guide. Dave is a local Eastern Sierra climber and extremely experienced Joshua Tree climber who has been climbing for fifteen years and professionally guiding for ten years. He also guides for Yosemite Mountaineeting School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography from San Diego State University. Over the past ten years Dave and our managing director Zeke Federman have worked very closely together guiding and instructing rock climbing and we are extremely proud and excited to continue working with Dave as part of the world class Sierra Rock Climbing School team! 

Zeke Federman: Managing Director - Senior Guide & Instructor

Zeke is one of the U.S.A.'s most highly trained, skilled and experienced rock climbing guides. He is also certified at the Single Pitch Instructor level and Multi-Pitch Guide level. Zeke's talents and experience as a rock climbing guide and climbing school director are world class and unparalleled. Zeke provides the Sierra Rock Climbing School, Inc with experienced, dedicated, educated and skilled managing direction. Prior to undertaking the position as the Sierra Rock Climbing School, Inc managing director, Zeke had over a decade of professional rock climbing instruction and guiding experience under his belt. He also has over 16 years of personal rock climbing experience and is a talented rock climber. Zeke has done the majority of his rock climbing in the famed Eastern Sierra, Spain, Red Rock, Yosemite and Joshua Tree National Park. He has established first ascents/new climbing routes all over the Sierra Nevada range from Southern Yosemite to the Eastern Sierra. He is also trained as an EMT and Wilderness EMT. Zeke is dedicated to ensuring that the Sierra Rock Climbing School provides you with the absolute best rock climbing experience possible, while continuing to uphold and propel the world class guided climbing standards of all the Sierra Rock Climbing School, Inc programs.

Tim Moore: Guide & Instructor

Tim is certified at the Single Pitch Instructor level and is the newest member of the world class Sierra Rock Climbing School team of guides and instructors. Tim may be new to our company, but he is far from new to rock climbing, having amassed over 22 years of rock climbing experience! Tim is also a very positive, warm and friendly person. Time spent learning climbing skills with Tim is time well spent.

Matthew is certified at the Top Rope Site Manager level and Top Rope Guide level. He is a Joshua Tree local guide and finds joy in climbing with new and old friends in Joshua Tree National Park.
