Zeke Federman: Founder of Sierra Rock Climbing School & Joshua Tree Guides

Zeke has 22 years of climbing experience to share with you! He has done the majority of his climbing in the Eastern Sierra, Joshua Tree National Park, Yosemite National Park, Red Rock & Spain. He has also established numerous first ascent rock climbs across California's famed Sierra Nevada range. Over the course of his 16 years as a professional rock climbing guide and instructor, Zeke has proven to provide safe, fun and empowering, guided rock climbing and instruction experiences for his clients. Zeke has also worked on a wide array of rock climbing instruction/guiding projects, ranging from training the U.S. Special Forces to major Hollywood climbing productions, including but not limited to being in charge of facilitating climbing segments for the Bachelor T.V. Series and the Dr.Phil Show! Zeke and his lovely wife Desiree are also proud parents of three energetic & inspiring young children, Estreya (age 9) Xavi (age 7) & Ami (age 4) all of them have been rock climbing since age 3. Zeke treasures the many friendships that have blossomed from his relationships built with his guided clients over the years and looks forward to climbing with you soon!

David Lane:

Dave is a gifted climbing guide and very strong rock climber! He is a certified rock climbing guide at the PCGI Multi-Pitch Guide level. He also served as the first technical director for the PCGI Professional Climbing Guides Institute. Dave is a local Eastern Sierra climber & guide. He has been professionally guiding for over 10 years. He lives in Bishop, Ca with his wonderful wife and amazing son. Dave also holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography from San Diego State University. Dave is fun and inspiring to climb with and learn from!

Matthew "Tristan" Sieleman:

Matt has climbed extensively all over the world! His climbing experience spans from the Eastern Sierra, Red Rock and Joshua Tree, to France, Australia and Canada. He is also a certified rock climbing guide at the PCGI Multi-Pitch Guide level.
Matt is a patient and energetic guide and instructor. Matt finds joy in climbing with new and old friends in the Eastern Sierra and Joshua Tree. His passion for climbing almost equals his love for being around people. Climb with Matt and he will no doubt impart his love and knowledge for climbing into your life!

The Sierra Rock Climbing Schools programs implement the highest of industry standards for professional rock climbing instructors, rock climbing guides, climbing guides, mountain guides, sierra mountain guides, rock climbing lessons, rock climbing classes, rock climbing courses and rock climbing instructors. All of the Sierra Rock Climbing Schools programs operate in partnership with and under permit from the Inyo National Forest Service and Joshua Tree National Park. The Sierra Rock Climbing Schools programs are conducted on a regular basis in Mammoth Lakes, Bishop and Joshua Tree National Park.
