recognized. The
Professional Climbing Guides Institute (PCGI) standards of certification have been adopted as a
requirement for commercial rock climbing guides and/or instructors working in many U.S. Department of the Interior -
National Park Service areas, including but not limited to: Joshua Tree National Park, New River Gorge and
Devils
Tower National Monument.
