After you submit your reservation infomation & subsequent payment, our goal is to send your email reservation confirmation within 48 hours (during busy times response time may be extended) please be patient. Confirmations will include meeting time & location, directions, suggested gear list & release/registration forms. We have found that sometimes the confirmations go to junk mail folders (please check your junk mail folder)
Please contact us at least 48 hours prior to your requested trip if you have not received your confirm email. Please do not wait until the day of your trip. Thank you!

Reservation and Cancellation Policies:

Voucher Reservation & Cancellation Policies: Guides are not required to wait for clients beyond 15 minutes from scheduled meeting time. You will be considered a "no show" if you are 15 minutes or more late for your scheduled meeting time and appropriate fees and policies listed below will apply. Voucher holders who cancel with less than 48 hours notice, or who do not show up on the day of scheduled trip will forfeit voucher, pre-paid dollar amount and any reschedule allowances. Voucher holders who cancel originally scheduled date with 48 hours or more notice, upon rescheduling voucher holder will be required to pay a reschedule fee equal to price paid for voucher. No credits or refunds will be given for downward revisions in amount of participants after original reservation is made. Reservations will be filled based on availability. No voucher refunds will be given by JTG under any circumstance (if you seek a refund, you must contact voucher company directly) All cancellation requests must be made via email sent to info@joshuatreeguides.com
Expired vouchers will not be honored @ discount/voucher deal rate paid (not retail value), dollar amount paid for voucher can be credited toward balance do for any future full value tripGuides are not required to wait for clients beyond 15 minutes from scheduled meeting time.
If you would like other full refund options, we suggest purchasing trip cancellation insurance via this third party link: travelex-insurance. Any trip canceled by Joshua Tree Guides due to bad weather on the trip departure date and as long as the trip has not begun and no climbing area approach or climbing and/or climbing site set up has begun, clients will receive a reschedule credit valid for six months from the originally scheduled trip departure date. Any trip that has begun climbing and/or climbing site set up has started, is non refundable and reschedule credits will not be issued. For any trips canceled by Joshua Tree Guides DUE TO unsuitable WEATHER CONDITIONS anytime prior to trip departure date, clients will be issued a reschedule credit valid for six months from originally scheduled trip departure date.

General Reservation & Cancellation Policies: All trip payments are due in full at the time of reservation and can be paid via check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards. Private guiding, courses, classes and seminars canceled by clients with 48 hours or more notice before scheduled trip departure time will receive a reschedule credit valid for 6 months from the originally scheduled trip departure date and time. No refunds will be given by Joshua Tree Guides under any circumstance. If you would like a full refund option, we suggest purchasing trip cancellation insurance via this third party link: travelex-insurance. Private guiding, courses, classes and groups canceled by clients with less than 48 hours notice will not receive any reschedule credit. No shows by private, class, course, seminar or group or international trip clients will not receive any refund or reschedule credit. Guides are not required to wait for client beyond one half hour. You will be considered a "no show" if you are a half our or more late for your scheduled meeting time, please plan your travel time accordingly. PCGI approved guide training and assessment payments are due in full at time of reservation and are non refundable and no reschedule credits will be issued for any reason. For all group, special training, special events and/or international trips a 50% non-refundable deposit is required in order to reserve dates. For Groups, special trainings and/or special events, full payment/balance is due no less than 60 days prior to trip departure date and will be billed to the credit card on file. Group trips canceled by clients/group with less than 30 days advance notice will forfeit the entire trip payment and receive no reschedule credit. Group trips canceled by clients/group with more than 30 days advance notice will receive a reschedule credit valid for six months. For all international trips, full payment is due at least 90 days prior to trip departure date. International trips canceled by clients with 90 days or more notice will receive a reschedule credit valid for six months from the date of originally schedules trip departure date and no refunds will be given under any circumstance. International trips canceled with less than 90 days advance notice will not receive any reschedule credit or refund. The number of people reserved for a group trip can be revised upwards at anytime as long as we can accommodate the revision, please inform our office of any group size revisions. Group sizes cannot be revised downward after original reservation and no refunds or credits will be given for downward revisions. Any trip canceled by Joshua Tree Guides due to bad weather on the trip departure date and as long as the trip has not begun and no climbing area approach or climbing and/or climbing site set up has begun, clients will receive a reschedule credit valid for six months from the originally scheduled trip departure date, otherwise no refunds or reschedule credits will be issued. Any trip that has begun climbing and/or climbing site set up has started, is non refundable and reschedule credits will not be issued. For any trips canceled by Joshua Tree Guides DUE TO unsuitable WEATHER CONDITIONS anytime before the trip departure date, clients will be issued a reschedule credit valid for six months from originally scheduled trip departure date, except for international trips where no reschedule credit will be issued for bad weather. All Joshua Tree Guides rates are subject to change based on season and/or availability. No exceptions will be made to any of the aforementioned official reservation and cancellation policies.
